Happy New Year and welcome 2017.
Today is the day, I’m committing to this journey all 365 days of this year. Today, I spent the day doing things to further prepare myself for this journey and to also help make this a successful journey.
I picked up my “manual” for this month’s challenge. I am taking part in the Ashy Bines 28 Day Booty Challenge. And, looking it over it’s going to be a challenge, but that’s okay I’m up for this and ready for it too. I need this.
A little about the challenge it’s a complete program with your workout guide for 4 weeks a specific meal plan based on your body type for the 4 weeks is also included. I will be modifying the meal plan a little. Still sticking to the guidelines but substituting some proteins for other proteins and different veggies and other little changes. Along with the eating plan is tons of recipes to try, which I can’t wait to try out a couple of them.
I like that there are different plans for different body types as we are all not a cookie cutter shape and all lose weight the same way. I’ll be busting my butt to get myself in shape. Every day starts with a 45-60 minute fat burning walk and also a booty busting workout, it may be a HIIT workout, weight workout, Pilates, or even a yoga workout. I can’t wait to start. I’m sure as I’m doing the workout I’ll be cursing the whole thing but I’m ready to push through and make it happen.
As well as going over the program I put together my fitness/nutrition and inspirational planner. I filled out my January monthly view with my daily workouts, I’m making exercise a priority as I’ve scheduled just like any other appointment.
Along with getting my monthly view of exercises written down, I did my meal planning for this upcoming week. I’m so ready to start rocking out this challenge starting tomorrow morning.
I also hopped on the scale and well let’s just say it’s a number I’m horrified by although it is lower than it was a few weeks ago. I also took my starting measurements. Again numbers I am not proud of and never want to see again. I’m going to do it these numbers won’t define me they don’t rule my self-worth but they are going to be better. One day at a time.
I’ve been crazy busy today and have yet to take my starting pictures which I plan on doing before going to sleep tonight. I won’t be posting them right away as I’m super embarrassed by the way I look, but I know that I will be posting them I just need to work up the nerve to do so.
