Oh. My. Goodness.
First let’s start off by talking about the fact that it’s February already. We’ve already plowed through a month of the year only 11 left. How did that happen so quickly?
I can honestly say I didn’t achieve my goals in this first month of 2017, which is just more reason for me to buckle down and push harder this month. I need to not life throw me off course.
I’m going to set my goals for this month and push hard to achieve them. I haven’t done my weigh in or measurements yet because well life is a bit crazy in this household.
I’ve got a 2 year old wreaking havoc on my house for another 2.5 weeks, which I wouldn’t trade that for anything as I love having him around. He’s exhausting I mean I kid you not from the minute he wakes up to the second he falls asleep he is running. Today for 25 minutes he ran laps in the house. I did it for like 10 minutes with him and I was exhausted and he just continued. When he tired of running circles in the house it was outside to run and chase after the dogs. Seriously, child where do you get this energy from, and can I get some please? The Energizer Bunny has nothing on him.
And, well if that was enough chaos to add to my life we’re dog sitting our friends’ dogs tonight and tomorrow night. So yeah I now have 4 big dogs and a 2 year old in my house. Clearly I’m insane to have agreed to this.
Tomorrow, I’ll get my workout chasing dogs and a toddler. Yup, I’ll be ready for bed that’s for sure. Oh wait I’ve been ready for bed every night by 7:30, let’s hope I can make it till then.
Note to self: toddlers are a wonderful workout routine. Run, lift, carry, twirl, push on swings, catch at the bottom of slides, chase after, and diaper wrestling just to name a few of that activities I partook in today. And, I’m pretty sure my abs are a little sore from all of the laughing I’ve been doing. Oh my the things he says and does. You can’t help but laugh, smile, and have a good day.
Well we’ve made it to the hump and started a new month. Let’s see what tomorrow brings.
