I started my morning off like I do many mornings with an OTF session. It was another ESP day or a little bit of everything. And, of course there was my favorite: rowing 🚣♀️ Whoooo can you feel the sarcasm?
I have felt a little off and not feeling as strong or able to push as hard as I have been. I don’t know if I pushed myself a bit too much with the 5 days in a row or I’m just tired, or maybe a combination of both. Either way, I did the workout and even though I wasn’t going as fast on the treadmill I was able to get myself up into the Orange and earn the splat points. On the weight floor I definitely was lifting a weight that was a challenge by the last couple of reps so that’s a sign of picking a good weight. I’ve got tomorrow off and then Friday I’ll workout and take Saturday off. I’m hoping the every other day off for a short bit may help me get some of my power and speed back. We shall see.
As I was leaving work today my co-workers asked me what was for dinner. My answer I have no clue. I didn’t meal plan this week, uhm actually I haven’t even grocery shopped for the week. I cooked so much the end of last week that I just wasn’t into thinking about what I’d eat this week. So yeah this week is going to be an ode to my sister-in-law and her Raccoon Meals.
And, well since last night I had no desire to eat, forge for something to make, or even cook I opted for gummy worms. Yeah that’s right I ate a handful of gummy worms for dinner last night. Don’t judge me. I mean Hello they are the berry ones and well they were berry good.
So to make up for that tonight I went with veggies. Lots of green on my plate. Mixed green salad and Dr Praegers spinach bites. And, yes the bites are in the shapes of dinosaurs and stars. Again don’t judge me clearly this week I’m channeling my inner toddler palate.
It was good got my iron in some protein and my servings of veggies. So I’ll call it a win.
At work I worked on some videos for our teams YouTube page and am working on some more. So it was a productive day all around. Workout✔️ Ate somewhat healthy dinner✔️ Got stuff done for work and was able to contribute something of value to our team✔️ So see it’s a good day.
